Hop-up, fabric or backlit — which exhibition wall works best

Hop-up, fabric or backlit — which exhibition wall works best

Hop-up, fabric or backlit — which exhibition wall works best?

A registration desk at a conference. An office reception that needs to look different from last quarter. A sponsor wall where people take photos at an event. A trade-fair stand where you need a backdrop but not a full build.

An exhibition wall is rarely the only element at a trade fair — there you more often find a full build. But at conferences, corporate events, receptions and photo points it can be the whole solution. And that is exactly where the choice of a specific system makes the biggest difference.

Four situations where a wall works on its own

  • Trade fairs. As a mobile point by the stand, an extra backdrop or a build element — you do not always need the full structure; sometimes a well-chosen wall is enough.
  • Conferences and corporate events. A backdrop for the speaker, a stage, a participant registration point — here the wall is often the only element of brand identity in the space.
  • Reception and corporate space. Permanent or seasonal identity — easy to reprint for a rebrand or seasonal campaign, without rebuilding the whole reception.
  • Photo point and sponsor wall. Galleries, premieres, PR events — where people deliberately want to be photographed and the brand should be visible in every shot.

Three questions that narrow the choice

  • How often do you move it and who sets it up? One conference a year is a different situation from ten events with a one-person setup.
  • Do you need backlighting? Poor room lighting, evening display or the wish to stand out from a distance point to a Premium-class LED system.
  • Which construction class? From simple Economy systems, through the aesthetic Standard, to backlit Premium — each class fits a different situation. You will find the current price of each system on its product card in the shop.

When speed matters — Hop-up (ECONOMY)

Picture a registration desk at a conference. A table, a laptop, and behind it a wall with your logo visible in every event photo. Guests arrive in five minutes and the tech crew is still setting up the stage. Hop-up unfolds so fast you can put it up at the last moment — even if it was used on another floor or at another event a week earlier.

This is a system for someone who travels often and does not always have a second person to help. The spider-type frame unfolds in an instant, and once packed it fits in the boot of a passenger car — no van or trailer needed.

When budget matters — Wall banner backdrop (ECONOMY)

Picture a small company's first trade fair. The marketing budget is tight and the stand simply has to look professional — no backlighting, no special effects, just a legible logo and a message visible from a few metres.

This is the entry system to the category — the simplest construction, but still a solid aluminium frame and a clean print on polyester. A good choice when you are testing the event format for the first time or need a spare wall for a less important location.

When looks matter — Europa fabric wall (STANDARD)

Picture a sponsor wall at a film premiere or a corporate gala. Every guest takes a photo by it, some end up on Instagram, some in the trade press. The smooth, tensioned stretch fabric does not catch flash glare the way banner material does — the logo comes out clean in every shot, whatever the angle.

This is a system for situations where aesthetics genuinely matter to business — PR events, premieres, galas, interviews by the stand. A step above Economy: a denser stretch fabric and an aluminium construction with stabilising feet.

When visibility from a distance matters — backlit systems (PREMIUM)

Picture a windowless exhibition hall where most stands look similarly grey. Your stand glows — literally. A backlit LED lightbox is visible from the other end of the hall, even when the general lighting is poor or the organiser dims the lights in the evening. This is the highest functional class — backlighting and double-sided display — available in two formats.

Large format, strong effect — Easy Light 300×200 (PREMIUM)

A large 300×200 display surface with double-sided backlighting — it works as the central element of a stand or a standalone sponsor wall in a space where it needs to be seen from afar. Tool-free assembly, transport in a wheeled bag.

Compact backlight effect — ZEN Backlight Double Easy (PREMIUM)

Smaller (100×200), easier to transport, still double-sided and LED-backlit. A good choice for smaller stands, shops and shopping malls where the full Easy Light size would be too big. The same Premium class as Easy Light, in a compact format.
